Guidelines for Physician Health

On June 25, 2016 we are offering a 1/2-day workshop on Confidentiality and Reporting Requirements For Wellbeing Committees, Medical Staff and Peer Review Bodies. The focus will be on the core content that Wellbeing Committees need to understand about reporting and confidentiality issues. Revised guidelines from the National Practitioners Data Bank have raised questions about what must be reported and highlight the need to define the Committee’s procedures clearly and carefully. We invite you to join us to learn more about this important and timely topic from 8:30 to noon at the San Diego County Medical Society Foundation offices.

Tom Curtis will lead the presentation and answer questions. His depth of understanding of the issues is grounded in 30 years of experience litigating and arbitrating on behalf of physicians, physician groups, and hospitals.
